Capurnius Piso[ATTACH=full]574815[/ATTACH]</p><p>This is such an iconic RR denarius. Probably one of the first coins that comes to most people's minds when they think of Roman Republic coinage.</p><p><br /></p><p>#1: M. Junius Silanus</p><p><br /></p><p>[ATTACH=full]574819[/ATTACH] this was my first RR denarius ever. For that alone is #1, but also because it depicts the ultimate classic theme of Republican silver coinage, Rome on the obverse and the Discouri in the reverse.
