$100 Billion dollar note.

    The latter, it seems. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/7532702.stm After all, the political and economic situation is basically the same. Apparently the primary reason is that amounts with so many zeros are difficult to handle ... not only for humans but even for cash registers, computers, etc. :rolleyes:

    A new currency...finally I was wondering what on earth look them so long.

    There wont be many 10bn dollar notes made then.

    and we me such limited finds already, i wont be able to graba handfull with all them zeros.... Well, at least the Zimbabwean govt was thinking about its people when they decided to make notes with fewer zeros. :rolleyes:

    Yeah, this will do nothing...when Germany ended hyperinflation with the rentenmark they took out loans using state owned property and what was left of assets as collateral...this gave them the backing to mint up new money. If all Mugabe is doing is printing new low denominations, then it means nothing without change to accompany it. They might as well not print money in this closed economy...because like the Germans realized...you can have all the money in the world but it does no good if you have nothing to buy.

    $100 Billion note are worth 50 cents now, but what about in the future?

    Are they going to be collectable?

    Why is the bidding so high now?

    $100 Billion notes on ebay.

    because there is a sucker born every minute? because some folks believe everytime they see RARE on ebay that it means they have to bid higher and higer??

    other wise, i dont know.
