Pretty cool error note. It’s hard to tell the condition from the photos, but I’d estimate its value around $300.
Very nice note. A stand out error that is easily identifiable for even non- error collectors. I would pay more than $300 for it.
Never in circulation My mother worked at a bank Wish she bought the bill before and after they were fine
yes send it in for certification, that will make a much better selling point with so many "fakes" coming from China. Your Certification will demand a better premium. IMHO it's real.
I'm going with paddyman on this one. All looks centered with the exception of the serial number and the 5's. There's more, what else is wrong with this picture? Good luck!
I'm not much on bills. I know there are no bonuses for sequentially number bills, regardless of the denomination. I mostly like 20 dollar bills, but I have sequentially number bills in $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, $50, and $100. I've been collecting from the Credit Union that I have been a customer over 50 years. Sequentially number bills are easiest before Christmas. $2, $10, and $50 bills are the hardest to get. As I said, I'm not much on error bills, but I like Sequentially numbered currency. Referencing the bill shown above, it doesn't seem that it is real. If it is, the collector has found a real gem.
I wasn't talking about the serial number. What? The note shows part of the next note, so not centered, but cut incorrectly.
