Thanks @Curtisimo I appreciate the kind words. As for that Edward IV, it was hard for me to believe that no one else wanted it for the opening bid of 100.00.

Wow! Those are some really great second string coins!!
Orfew, all that gold is amazing! The Saladin is very cool and a great choice for a Constantine!
Doug, dang man! I like them all! The Sextus Pompey, Philip Alexandria, and Commodus / light house are amazing!

Well then you definitely hit a home run with that one. It would have been have been difficult to keep it out of my top 10. I have a hard time rating between the coins I like best overall and the ones that I feel were the best bang for buck.

Do you think you had a better year than last year?

Yes I think so. Last year was very good, but I have made different collecting decisions this year. I decided to add only exceptional coins to my 12 Caesars collection. These do not appear very often so instead I have added a number of coins to my historical figures collection. What I like about this collection is that I get to define if an historical figure is significant enough to include. It also means that I will never run out of coins to buy that fit the collection. There are still large numbers of historical figures I want to add, but some of them will come in time.
