Numismatic Discussion Forums are a great enhancement to our hobby, and Cointalk is for sure on the best. It is in my opinion the most active ancient numismatic forum that I participate in (and I participate in a few in various countries). Remember the days before the internet? either one had to wait for the next coin show to discuss coins with friends, unless you were lucky and had a coin club near by. I didn't. I remember I used to leaf through my piles of sales catalogues and other literature to view and compare coins in my collection. Forum like Cointalk have made much of that obsolete - here you can discuss coins with friends around the globe, instantly. So here is to another 10000 threads!
What should also be noted is the over 195,000 MESSAGES that we have... that is a very healthy sign of strong PARTICIPATION within each thread! Fantastic!
