    Hey guys,
how would you grade this flying eagle cent? It's my first 19th centuary small coin.

1858/7 weak overdate, XF to AU Details cleaned.

I'm thinking low AU and I tend to agree with the "cleaned" opinion.

I agree with both of the above. I can't see the overdate from the pictures.

AU50 due to the wear on the reverse. Just a guess. The obverse looks great, even with the grease filled A. Nice coin for a collection, IMHO.

Sharpness grade is Choice AU. but it's been cleaned to remove spots or undesirable toning. This obvious on the upper part of the obverse above the eagle's head and body.

Quite a bit of rim dings, corrosion, and cleaned. Between VF-20 and EF-40 in my opinion. Graders don't seem to be very nice when it comes to Flying Eagles. Good luck and thanks for sharing the coin.

If you have the cash, high grade Flying Eagle Cents are not that hard to find. It’s the Proof Flying Eagles that are really tough.

That's the Problem. Not everyone has the cash .
