    Colorado State Treasurer
    Sales Tax
    One Fifth Cent
    Series A-35
    Any info would be appreciated!

    There were several states that implemented sales tax tokens especially during the 1930s as a form of excise tax. Most of them were out of use by the 1940s, but Missouri was the last to issue them in the early 1960s by which time they were making the tokens out of plastic.
