so far we are sure that the mint will produce 4 pc proof set of the 2010w platinum. also the 2010w american buffalo one ounce gold proof. that's it.

2010w american eagle proof and unc, gold and silver - no word.

 

OK. I confess. I have the UNC Set and wish I had bought them both. LOL The UNC just seemed so more natural and I never expected to make money with them. I tried to tell you guys that I am a terrible coin collector. But Thanks for letting me be here.

I own One Platinum Coin. I bought it to see what it might look like. Kinda like buying a Proof Coin. I prefer a Lady with naturals versus ? Well. You know what I mean.

 

But I'm gettin' old and can't see those little bitty things and I can see that Large Cent better. Besides I can always look at my extra MS/PF $50 2008-Ws if I miss the little ones, I can see them better also......:kewl:

It will be interesting to watch how MCM does in selling the ones they have accumulated over the past month or so. It looks like they had no trouble finding people to sell, so now let's see if they can find buyers at those prices. TC

 

Yeah, esp. since that was in their original claim to get people to sell, that they had buyers lined up, which makes you wonder why people would need to sell to MCM in the first place if there's a market out there demanding these coins, cut out the middle man.

Also, MCM are only selling NGC certified in 69/70... which, since the offer went out, would have had to have been received from the customer selling to MCM, looked over, sent to NGC for express grading, returned in 69/70 grades, and listed for sale on the MCM site. They mustn't have that many on hand.

 

I want the fractional so badly but I cant bring myself to pay 2 grand for a 1/4 or 1/2 oz of gold.

Perhaps ill get hit by a car on the way to lunch or something....
