These NGC Slabbed coins were going to be offered by the ANA at the convention. But since it was cancelled they are offering them online to be purchased. I received mine last week.

Here is the CoinWeek article I want to share with you

For an NGC graded coin, it's a great price! Special label and if it comes back as a SAMPLE that's a bonus. I just had a festured article on Sample Slabs if you remember. Have a great weekend and happy detecting.

Go ahead, rub it in. Seriously, if you spent more time working, you wouldn't be on CT to get all of those likes. Just kidding of course and love your posts (after you've had your coffee. LOL).

Does anyone remember getting the oral dose as a child? I got the cube of sugar in elementary school. Much, much better than a shot. LOL

Yes, second grade was the last one. It was pink as I remember. It tasted sweet but the nurse wouldn't give me another.

Just because of my poor memory, I just did some quick research and was shocked to find out we received the live virus and not the dead that was in the injection. Holy moly, some children contracted the virus and a few actually died. I guess us tough old birds lived through a lot.

I'd agree to that. Things have certainly changed but I can't tell if that's good or bad. Does that mean I'm getting old? Lol

I think it means that through years of experience, we are finally able to see the changes that have taken place and now probably wish to go back to a simpler time.

Somewhere along this thread I think we hihacked it. It was intended to celebrate Paddy's 36,000 likes. He showed us a great coin with a strong meaning. If your in your mid sixties you'll understand as polio was still common place.

Congratulations on 36,000 and please accept my apologies for taking part in the hijack @paddyman98 and thanks again for the link to own one of these.
