I have aleays liked the wheat cents and have amassed a pretty good collection. As i collected for fun i havent been concerned with value. Now i am collecting something different and would liketo know more info on my other coins as they may get sold to fund my new collection. Fine, too many small dings for XF along with wear. $12.50 retail.

Nice coin! Please be careful with those staples. Carefully crimp them down with a pair of pliers. JMO.

Oh yea , I try to be very careful with those staples , I learned the hard way years ago . Scratched a 09s right down the face . Broke my heart. Very glad you mentioned that,it is very important to be aware of the staples always . I should get some self sealing 2x2s

Off the subject, but do toned wheats carry a premium. I have heard people collect them . IMG_20160714_092719.jpg

I would say yes, absolutely! Depending on the date and the condition.

IMO the toning has to be attractive to increase the value of any coin. Also, the toning has to be original. I see a lot of artificially toned coins on ebay, especially modern issues.
