These quarters are now just becoming in circulation in my area, so far out of the hundreds I've looked at, this one is the only one I found with some errors. Yes I know they are small they are very small. But that only tells me that the small grow into the large eventually. I'm sure as more of these get it to circulation, hopefully the fines will also get better. And if any other members find errors in this Kentucky series please post on this thread I would very much like to see them.
Let's add a little one to this one. Inquiry. Has anyone else noticed that little penal slug, in the upper photos. It starts in the top photo underneath the left arm. The next photo it's above the rifle on the left arm. Did not really notice that until I posted this new photo.
I have some of the new ky quarters with major doubling on the obverse. Actually, I have several with major doubling on all the 2016 P quarters. I'll post some pictures shortly if anyone is interested in seeing them. Or this may not be the right thread for those pictures. Let me know....
Feel free to post them on this thread. I personally will would like to see them. What you see on this thread is all I've come up with so far.PS. Did not mean to be so forgetful, welcome to coin talk.
Sorry for the quality of the photos. I need a better camera. I shot a picture of that album, to show the number of 2016 quarters I've found with doubling in different places. Probably 30-40 of them. Also, i have quite a few with the "blasted" look (or at least that's what I've heard it called on other sights).
Thank you for your pics. And as far as the quality, you can only work with what you have to work with. Question have you submitted any of them in for examination?.
@usmc60 No. I have several coins Id like to submit. But, Im very new at this and fearful of making an expensive mistake. So, I'm trying to be patient and see what others do with similar coins. For example; Im getting ready to post on here about a 1913 S var. 2. Buffalo nickel I scored for 60 cents. Who would you submit quarters like this to?
