Hey, there is no chance that you bought it for 180 euros I bought yesterday, 3, and for each of the coins I paid 280 euro;]. And this fact is the way, but valuable, a small print run of only 60 thousand pieces, and sometimes you can earn on it, in my opinion a good investment
Short answer: No. Longer answer: According to the Official EU Journal, the issue volume is almost 150,000 coins. But as the OP mentioned, Monaco has not issued that many pieces (yet?), only those ~60,000. Each comes in some "prestigious" box, official issue price €100 or so, but it costs quite a bit more these days. A few went into the year sets. And the other 80,000 or so? Nobody knows. So if you want one now, you need to get one of those BU pieces. Or you wait, hoping that Monaco will at some point release those 80,000 into circulation. Which they may do or not do ... Christian
