“Old West” Buffalo Nickels

    Buffalo nickels always make me think of the Old West... I’ve found I like them in this grade. Not as flashy as other examples I’ve owned, but I like this pair the most. Dust and color just feels right with the subject matter to me.

    Beautiful pair of nickels, CircCam! I'm a huge fan of that golden/sandy toning. Definitely makes me think of the Old West as well. Can you imagine how cool it would've been in Buffalo nickels were ever minted at Carson City? :)

    Here's a golden toned Buffalo nickel I own. Not quite as beautifully toned as your pair, but certainly not quite the "usual" color of these nickels.
