“Gold Florins of Medieval Hungary” Coin Series Launched The National Bank of Hungary have issued a new gold coin, which launches a new annual coin series entitled “Gold Florins of Medieval Hungary.” The inaugural piece of the series, struck at the Mint of Hungary in Budapest, depicts the golden florin ducat originally issued under the reign of Charles I.
