I have to wonder who would be more upset about being on the same coin, the Queen or Diana? Seems like they made Diana look very plain and that is not how I remember her. Nice additions Steve!

Map of Great Britain and Ireland, arranged so that Greenwich is at the centre of the clock 1999-2000 Dome Privy Mark at 3 O Clock Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley Edge Inscription WHAT'S PAST IS PROLOGUE Sold only at the Millennium Dome for a Premium I am not 100% sure but I think there might be a Advertising issue as well will have to check into that
Since Greenwich is in the middle of the coin (which, in combination with the clock and its hands, is a nice idea), one has to wonder where that Millennium Dome is located. Roughly halfway between Cologne and Frankfurt maybe? Still, I like the design. I have that coin too - the dotless one though ... Christian
LOL I like that Christian now then you say you have the dotless one but which dotless one would that be yep there are 2 one is dated 1999 and the other 2000 (good way of making money for the mint 3 diffrent issues of basicly the same coin LOL)
Ah, I just have one of those three (or even more if you include the silver and gold varieties). Mine is dated 2000, and since I do not collect "by year" anyway but rather by design, that one is enough for me. Of this year's special issues (which I have too), I like the King James Bible design best because it combines the text from the Bible and the aspect of printing. The WWF coin design is interesting too, as I have not seen many coins in such a style so far. The fourth or fifth design like that, however, I would find dull. Philip's portrait, well, it shows an interesting perspective, better than the Charles portrait on the £5 coin from 2008. But this new one does not "go along" very well, style wise, with the Queen's portrait. The Mary Rose coin is a little too ornate for me, with the font used for the ship's name, and the doo-dads on the ring. But I know that many collectors find ships on coins attractive ... Christian
It was pointed out to me the similarity in design between the newer Jeffersons and the Prince phillip so I checked it out and yep there is a similarity LOL
