Looks like it may be a struck thru coin , meaning that it probably had something between the coin die and the blank coin when struck.

All of this was caused by the reeded edge of another coin coming into contact with this one.
The 1955 cent looks to be from a die gouge or die scratch which ever we want to call it . Coin dies can get gouges or scratches in them anywhere....
