The above is completely incorrect. This coin is real, albeit cleaned. It's not bad for a first CC Morgan Dollar. :)
PL Peace Dollars are definitely not as easy to find as PL Morgans. Nice find. :)

They are called "cameo proofs". The grade for a cameo or deep cameo proof will be listed as "PR-64 CAM" or "PR-64 DCAM".
They appear to be business strikes.
Those TV coin shows are worse than slimy used car salesmen. One of the worst places to purchase coins from.

Sorry, it's a poor counterfeit. I'm surprised no one spotted the difference in the design on the obverse. It looks nothing like the real thing.

I would try. However, it's been harshly cleaned before. If you remove the gunk on the surfaces, it may expose the cleaning even more.
