MS-65
This one probably won't CAC. Looks accurately graded at 63.
Pictures, please. The lack of detail could be struck through grease. But photos are definitely needed.
Yep - a semi-key date. The ding isn't as bad as the corrosion spots. VG-10 Details, IMO.
No matter the weight, still looks fake, unfortunately.
Do not confuse wear with the famous New Orleans mint weak strike. MS-63 IMO.
Normal 1964 half. "Die marker" is in the wrong location. It should be attached to the horizontal part of the 4. Yours is attached to the vertical...
Looks like NT to me. @Lehigh96 @mumu
Depends on the series and date. Each series/date can have different diagnostics to tell if business strike or proof.
MS-65BN
Obvious fake, unfortunately. Lettering and MM are off.
Yes, that looks like artificial toning. If it is, it is worth face value.
I agree with TONYBRONX - looks like a great book! But before making any major purchases, consult multiple sources (including CT) before buying...
A counterfeit that could easily fool a newer collector.
I see Machine Doubling on the D. Doesn't look like a doubled die to me. Pics not good enough to tell if polished.
That looks like a greaser. Well, for certain it ain't a '21-D. :p
Yes, just stain that resembles a clash.
It is merely a token. Not a US mint product.
PMD, post mint damage. Not an error. Take it to a local dealer if you aren't convinced.
Nice find!
