I'm still envious!
Where do you see that? My just be the lighting. I see mint luster. Better photos please?
Dealer Said: $28 for 1863 and VF+ $8 and F Details for 1884 $7 and F for 1883 How did I do?
OK THE RESULTS!
I agree! I would say it is probably MD except on the die!
Dealer gave it a details grade for that reason,
Thanks! Any idea on how I should control to green rot? And also safely remove the dust and grime from them? Acetone maybe?
My guesses if I had to grade them are: AU-55 EF-45 AU-50
Also, Is that MD or Doubled Die on the "OF" and "S" in beginning of "States" on the obverse of the 1863 cent? Click to zoom in. 99.9% sure it is MD.
Extremely dusty, but nice details! Picked these up today at the LCS. What do you think the dealer graded them? What do you think the actual grade...
I got a VG 1916d dime for $3 on eBay! Barber dime lol!!!!! You really thought I was talking about the Mercury Dime!
Looks like a strongly struck mint state coin. Not specimen in my opinion.
Nice coins! I really need to get into ancients!
Breathtaking coin, and incredible photos! I really need to get a proof Indian!
Lol, my guesses were done without seeing the results. After looking I see I was pretty darn close :) I saw in my alert box that I was tagged,...
Half cent: AU-53 Nickel: AU-58, grading services probably went MS-62 though.
I have the quarter dollar version of that, except it is hardly cleaned and has a small loop welded to it for jewelry. Mine is also only a low EF...
Looks like it may have been cleaned or lightly polished many years ago and some parts of it are still reflective from the cleaning.
I would say MS-62, nice coin!
I would throw in the Statue of Liberty!
