Machine doubling. LOL. :joyful:
For sure it's PMD (post minting damage) NOT an error.
Nice find!
It seems that way. Possibly it's due to the larger amount of coins made nowadays and different methods of production.
Personally, I'd prefer to keep it in the same old holder. ;) In hand it looks quite a bit darker than the pics...less of the cleaned look....
[IMG] VF-30 is a bit low for this one, IMO.
VF-25
Although the pics are a bit small, I am working on it. :D
Congrats on your promotion to Moderator.
Congrats @AussieCollector
MS-66RB, fantastic coin! Considering how NGC has been recently, however, they might have called it AU Details, Altered Surfaces.
I agree with paddyman….MAD (misaligned die)
Looks like die deterioration doubling, those lines are often called flow lines.
I agree - Denver mint, worth melt, also looks cleaned.
Nice find! :)
Guess the TPG grade. White spot on obverse is debris in photo, not on coin. [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
$20,000. :p
EF-40 sounds right.
I am no TPG worshiper. But I agree with @Lehigh96 and @baseball21 about this.
MS-64, natural toning.
