Got to love a good die crack . As you notice the crack is raised , that's when metal pushes through the thin crack that developed in the die .
All the government was interested in was making coins as cheaply as possible , minor issues like slight doubling where a loupe is needed to see it...
I agree with Jim , if single hubbed dies are used there can't be any misalignment , thus no doubled dies except of the mechanical nature .
But I bet that's what PCGS will call it .
