I really don't think this was cast . Look at the scratches , if it was cast the inside of the scratches would be smooth , where here they match...
Dave I think they're saying there's definite rub over the eye and wing tips of the eagle , not much but enough and that's just the reverse .
I see something there , but it could be anything from corrosion or dirt . I don't collect IHC but is there a S number for that date and the 2nd 8 ?
