I agree. The 18% gray base is a nice touch. The heaviest combo I plan to use is my Rebel T6i with a 100 mm dedicated macro lens.

Yep, the 78-S has the best cameo contrast of any Ike proof. As I recall, the mint deliberately made a change to improve the frosting. It worked.

If you go with a silver issue, I would recommend finding a nice 1972-S silver business. Those typically come nice, so it will be easier to find...
