Steel Cents have a lot of oddities that look like DDOs, RPMs, etc but they are usually the results of die wear, polishing, etc.
That's just eBay not wanting to show you an auction that has ended.
The die crack is actually a die break, and even more interesting it's a Retained Cud. It is listed in Cuds on Coins as: RCD-1c-1943S-25 Check it...
I posted a while back about a new coin photo system I have been building, and have sold several systems since then (thank you Coin Talk!) . Each...
This is lots of good info, but is still not an answer. Let me state the question once again: Does die wear increase the likelihood of MD...
Yes, yes, but an earlier post stated that "die wear" would cause MD. I asked how, but neither the poster nor anyone else so far can tell me how...

Early in my coin photography efforts (after years of practice) I took my system to coin club meetings and shot member coins for free. I expected...
I've done photography for a very select clientele, where most of my work has been in doing detail shots, or specialized efforts for publication....
I advertised the first of my new style of coin photo systems here a little over a month ago, and since then have sold 4 of them! I did not...

Also "Prison Cent".
Very nice two-sided unabraded die clash. If you are interested, I would like to shoot it in high res and do an animated overlay, like the 2014...
