Unique means only one exists.
Sometimes it's hard to tell on a worn coin.
I could be wrong but if I recall, they were all issued through different acts of Congress. National notes FRNs, silver and gold certificates, etc.
Smash it into a bezel and polish the hell out of it and then rub it for years with your forefinger and thumb and I think it looks about right.
