Haha well I don't really consider myself a ''noobie'' but I am no expert. Lets keep on topic :thumb:
Welcome to CT! Yeah this is an AU-58.
I've done business with the Littleton Coin Company but never heard of the Executive Coin Company.
That's something to be scared about. Last thing you would want is to buy a $1000 coin with AT and find out its only worth $200.
I agree, even if it was a 09' S VDB Cent for hundreds less, I still wouldn't want it.
Its just a coin book I picked up at a book store, all its called is Coin prices. Its a little like the Red book but it gets the job done for me.
I started to put down VG-10 but I am pretty sure about F-12. Edit: Welcome to the forum!
I'm not a member of PCGS but I have a price guide that I use for my coins. My book says: 1811 Half Cent in VF-20 is worth $1800 Edit: This book...
This will most likely grade F-12.
MS-62 RB with a few marks.
Judging the dark spots on the cheek and beard and on the coat, I'll go AU 58 with a touch of luster.
So close, I have no idea why that is not a 64 RD!
Cool finds! I see lots of silver. Great stash of Morgans.
A few marks and one scratch on the nose, MS-63 BN.
It looks like a 65 but I would rather undergrade a coin than overgrade it, so I went 64.
I wanna say PMD, but after looking at all the scratches and marks on it, did you happen to find this in a roll? No proof should look like that...
Thanks for the replies everyone. I knew there was something fishy about this Merc. I also noticed that all his other auctions have almost the same...
I have no clue why this Merc is so toned. I like toning, but this is too intense...
Aloha, I'm starting a thread about posting pictures of your Matte Proof cents Mahalo! :thumb: :smile
Thanks, I've been to the Penny Lady's website. She's always had nice looking pennies in here inventory.
