Unless you really want a Bust Half, I would just wait for a better one with no problems to come around. Here's my VF-20 PCGS graded, no problems...
I like BN's better than Full Reds even though Full reds are much more scarce, and RB's are on the expensive side. Plus full reds look too much...
Its so funny that this thread was started the day after I got my oldest from circulation. A 1910 Lincoln cent in AG-03 or FR-2? Its pretty worn..
Yes, that's the one I'm watching. That's pretty crazy considering the $625-$750 price. But, anyone can bid whatever they want, they don't always...
Aloha. I scoped out my next MPL, a 1914 PCGS Choice Proof-64 BN. PCGS price guide says $625-$750. Anyone have any ideas on how much this may go...
1:30 am. Lol. I'm no good with the cold weather, its always in the 70's/80's here in Pearl City (Honolulu). Out here in the salt spray and...
There's very strong booming luster, like cartwheel luster, and an excellent strike in the bust, almost like a proof. Really, I can't see anything...
Believe it or not, that's the same coin!
Great coin, nice toning, great strike, I see no problem getting a 64 BN. [ATTACH] Here's some pictures of the toning: [IMG] [IMG]
Poll closing tomorrow......wow.....this thread was a MISERABLE failure. :(
Its pretty nice in hand, spots don't snow up as bad as they do in the picture. The obverse is atleast a 64, but as you said, the spots on the...
When held up in the light, there's some very faint luster, VERY faint. It was in an old ANACS small white holder. I won it off of Heritage for $575.
MS-64, only a few minor marks holding it back from a gem.
I'll go with AU too.
After this finishes, I'll try to post some more pictures of the coin, it has OUTSTANDING green-blue toning, almost like chan color. Its a gorgeous...
I would spend a few hundred more and buy one in a slab just to be sure its real. Unless you know for sure, and you can see it in person, don't buy it.
I don't think its a proof, I just don't see it. All MPL's I've seen had real strong and sharp strike in the hair lines. This one is a little...
I am talking about what grade does everyone think NGC will grade this Matte Proof. I'm not discussing PCGS or anything else. What do you guys...
Aloha all, I recently bought a 1913 MPL from Heritage and it was in a older ANACS slab as 63 BN. I was wondering if it would grade the same or get...
Scratches are on the holder.
