That is a horrible price for a gram of 24k gold. Less than half of melt. I wouldn't sell him/her anything at those prices.

Are you talking about rolls purchased from the US Mint or bank rolls? I have heard that the mint roll quality is better than the bankk rolls.

some people just wait and buy them off ebay from people trying to flip or dump them. Maybe you could buy them below mint issue price that way....
