The web site www.coppercoins.com has pics of all known RPMs. Check it out and find a match to your coin. Then start your own new thread and post...
They are probably related though. I bet after the struck thru was cleared, the die was not repolished and your coin was struck.
Another guy had a coin just like this last month. Must have been struck by the same dies.
I saw your other coin, but I don't have a way to put the 2 coins side by side to see if the "4" is identical. If it is, then it is probably a...
I'm going through my stash trying to find a 1988 "Fancy G" now.
Die gouges maybe. Probably struck from the same dies as the other guy who had one last month.
It looks like struck thru, but the pics are too small. It could just be very worn and damaged. You could look at it through a microscope and see...

Anyone know where to find pics of the alleged possible 3rd 1992-P close AM that was NGC graded AU55Bn mentioned on this page?...
Is there a thin layer missing rockdude? I have a Liberty nickel just like that. A layer is missing in an area, but the strike is still visible.
Yeah I just found some high res pics of the coin and there was an obvious seam on the obverse. Most people just check the reverse for a seam so he...
Maybe this was struck soon after a die clash was polished out.
Check out this guy's collection of huge Lincoln cuds. Yours isn't on there, but it is similar to some of them....
Yes it is small, but if it isn't post mint, it looks kinda like struck through a little bit of grease.
The cud is so huge that the metal from the planchet filled in the cud, rather than the letters on the reverse. It flowed into the least resistance.
200x profit is great. Welcome to Cointalk. I hope you find more to share with us.
That article is from when the state quarters first came out and were selling for ridiculous amounts. There is a coin on e--y identical to yours...
