Could be a magician’s coin. Put it in a glass jar, put the lid on it and shake it hard. If a magician’s coin it should come apart.

My uncle has a roll of Unc 1955 Roosevelt dimes he bought from a dealer in the early 1960’s, knowing that was a low mintage year (12.45 million)....
