I considered selling some silver eagles to pay for a buffalo or two but decided it would be better to keep those and get a buffalo anyways....

The trick (in my mind, and in my opinion) is to diversify, buy rolls of silver eagles, silver maples, the gold coins you have, maybe a few others...
