I think you have up to 180 days from the day of purchase to open a dispute.
I opened a dispute directly thru PayPal.

Insurance and priority mail was requested as to have it before Christmas. He said since it sold for so much they'd cover the shipping.

Well I called PayPal and they froze the funds until they can prove it was delivered. That makes me fee better that my $589.64 is being held.
Sadly it won't let me open a dispute as it hasn't passed the expected delivery day. :banghead:
