I love surfing, it's my favorite thing to do, besides collecting. I've joined a surfing school here in Honolulu and I've got buddies and we all...
I don't see anything wrong with that, the dealer isn't going to let anything go without a profit, so I assume he made a decent profit. As stated...
It's all good, lol. I've been pretty busy today, had a very long day at school, so I went to hit the waves to relieve some stress. I'm pretty...
I am thankful that I have Bitdefender.
Nice coins ya'll! Mine's still the 1924 Saint Gaudens Double Eagle and 1910 Matte Proof Lincoln that I posted on this thread.
On both of my purchases (Saint Gaudens and 1910 MPL) Dad and I went in halves on each of them, now I'm paying him back with chores and other stuff.
I love that 1914 MPL posted above. Man I wish these things didn't cost thousands.
My last purchase was my 1924 Saint Gaudens Double Eagle for $1,860. I am broke after that purchase, and that was over a month ago, haha. It was...

3 Walkers is alot more Silver value than 1 NGC slabbed ASE. As stated above, the Walkers will hold some Numismatic value, while the ASE is more...
Beautiful '16 MPL. Man...one of these days I'll buy a MONSTER toned MPL. I really love the 1912 PR-66 BN in the Gobrecht Monster Toned Raisinet...
Aloha!

Nice report. Man, I wish it would get cold out here with snow, it RARELY gets below 65 degrees. When I went to Colorado, it was pretty cold with...
Pretty hot topic, 1916 MPL vs 1916 Business strike. I believe the design was sharpened for the year 1915, it was getting dull at around 1914 I...
I'll agree with what was stated above. For a coin like that, I'd find a nice reputable dealer with a slabbed example by a reputable TPG.
I love that Morgan, pretty nice toning. My local coin dealer has a 1884-CC that is toned very much like that, and my mouth is drooling over it.
Go with air-tites for any coins. I favor those because its super easy to store them and it protects coins from dust and other contaminants.
What I'm saying is, letting the coin tone on its own rather than using anything else, other than an album. It may be the same chemicals, I don't...
Great post, GDJMSP. I'd have to agree, spend the $0.50 and buy an air-tite rather than risking all the dust and rusting staples in the cardboard...
