Retired and full of coins
I collect because I love coins, I can learn something new, and it gives me enjoyment as a hobby.
Would it make sense to buy a gambling machine just for the coins? Its not what somebody did, I'm just asking.

I wouldn't buy a gold plated buffalo nickel, the gold plate made it worth less. I would pay about 75 cents for common buffalo nickels in average...
