Are these columns on the obverse, left of Lincoln?
Looks like unum, letters under steps.
Is this a poor die? Liberty and date looks like a double in places and die breaks in others. The rim also looks odd.
Is this date MD, die deterioration or doubling?
Is this a die break or crack under the nose? Slightly off center obverse rim.

Please explain how a stain would be a perfect outline. You know more than I do. I am just trying to learn. How about the date?
Marked double profile. The date also appears to be a strong double.

Look to right of Lincoln, almost looks like half of another Lincoln. There is also a "spear-like" die break/crack to the left of Lincoln.
almost looks like another partial profile impression out from the profile.
The top part of the letters in states is a thicker stamp than the rest, which appears flattened and lightly struck. How does this occur?
