Struck through's don't effect the reverse.
Except for the 'L' in Liberty looking untouched I would also expect a struck through.
I keep them in the original packing and put them where I can usually not find them.
It could be a gouge or a struck through, won't know without a larger picture of the coin.
Looks like a grease filled die created what you have there. The color makes it hard to see the condition but it doesn't look to bad. Nice find.
Yep, post mint damage.
Looks like someone was busy with a hammer.
From what I see without a better photo it looks like a die chip in the date on the '50, the other looks to be one for the bucket.
Real nice, thanks
I'd say spend them or give them to your children, grandchildren or neighbors kids. They're fun to have when your a child, big ol' coins

It must be grease because it also took the 'S' out also..
Looks like enviromental damage, maybe sitting in goo for awhile.
Still a newbie, I just think I know a little more then I did when I started.
Yep, I like the honesty in the listing but still am wondering 'What fool bought that hammered cent.'
Give me your brothers ebay name so I don't try to buy from him.
What fool bought that hammered cent. Can you post your add so I can see what made them purchase it? thanks
You should at least use your phone camera, it would give us an idea of what you have. tanks
