Curious - Did anyone think to themselves, "SMS?", when they saw that '64 Kennedy?
Impossible to attribute from your provided pics - they're way too small. Give us bigger pics and we'll give you the Newcomb #
Just switching it up for kicks. You'll see my sad eagle again someday ;)
Since I can't make out the T-I relationship, I'm not confident enough to say it's the O.122. Yes, other attributes of that die marriage are...
Not a die crack, IMHO. It looks more like a planchet flaw - not a die flaw. It was struck through a retained (attached) lamination.
aka my Bible :D
This isn't a possibility. The dies that struck the VAM-1AF are entirely different than the dies that struck your coin. Die cracks don't just...
I never said I determined the VAM of your coin... I just said it wasn't 1AF  I'm actually having trouble find a match to your's too. I'm...
Most computers give you the option to scroll up as well........
I'm not old, nor am I "salty"... well, maybe a little salty. Just keep scrolling and you'll find it eventually
Your coin is one of the VAMs listed on VAM World... it's just a matter of finding a match. ;) That's half the fun!

O.111 is the die pair (obverse die and reverse die) that struck the OP's coin The "a" refers to the stage in life the die was in when the OP's...
No, it's not a counterfeit. It's an O.111a, R4 (1806 over inverted 6) Your coin is rare because of the additional cud above "UN" on the reverse....
It should be, but I've seen corroded coins in graded holders, so it obviously isn't. If the verdigris is eating into the metal, then grading is...
Yup, looks like an FS-101 :thumb: Worth apx. 200x face value ;)
With that green stuff at 11 o'clock on the obverse, the coin's chances of grading are slim. And if corrosion has set in, you can forget it....
