If that's artificial, it's definitely deceiving enough to pass grading if run through once or twice more. Give it another shot, if it's worth it...
Both look good to me :) The CBH also appears to be an 1824/4. In that grade, the variety won't command a premium, but just FYI ;)
You must remember that grading is subjective. NGC's standards and PCGS's standards are very different. With some series of coin, both TPG's...
Mild cleaning, but has retoned nicely. It's a strong AU, but I don't think it'd pass at PCGS.
