If it didn't grade "environmental damage" for the obverse, VF35 sounds right.
The patina looks very unnatural, but that has no affect on the coin's value since it is essentially bullion at this point.
Looks polished to me. Over-dipped at best. Appears to have Unc details, though :)

O.115a, R4+ After the obverse die developed a fatal crack, the die was really on its last leg and did not produce many coins thereafter....
