Im just saying that if TPGs did not exist grading standards would be wildly inconsistent and dealers would then capitalize on it.
I once asked about those marks just above the lettering and was told it was either MD or Die deterioration, its actually quite common especially...

Most of my Ikes are PCGS only because i believe they have a stronger emphasis on the strike of the coin and often times are more eye appealing but...
