Auction house accepted they were fakes and did not ask me to pay.
This weighs 27.4g and certainly doesn't look silver.....has reeded edge but rather smooth.....came as part of group of world coins posted earlier....

I think retail would be far in excess of £200 and if not I made a loss. The jeweller is in Cheshire that's all I will say.
Probably come in as scrap...........had excellent pick up yesterday...........paid £20 and got 17th, 18th and 19th cent silver and unc copper Vicky.
Met a kind jeweller who allowed me to pick through a tray of coins that had come in over the years. He is pretty clued up so there weren't any...
