I think you are wasting your money to sending it to be recertified. I doubt it will come back any different. It is a beautiful coin though.

XF Details - PVC Damage
The top photo looks like there is a rim ding to the right hand side of the face on the obverse.
Is there reddish toning? Does it have luster in your hands, or is it just kind of dull?
The hair and breast feathers look good. I don't see this being an AU coin. UNC Details - Cleaned is the worst grade this would get, in my mind.
How can you tell? The lighting is so bad it is impossible.
That is a shame. You would think, in all of their mints, West Point would have the best QC.

In other words, it was been narrowed down to anywhere from UNC Details to MS65. Not bad considering the pics we were provided with.
