I picked this up recently and I know it's a rare note. It was described as lightly pressed and cleaned.....though to what degree I don't know....

Just picked these up in Portugal with a view to flip to help pay for my banknote outlays. Eagerly awaiting their arrival.
Not in hand yet and very slow unresponsive auction house so not getting too excited until they all arrive.
Found it..............Romance of the three kingdoms........v expensive set 10,000 mintage.
Turns out the auction house made an error, it's 1997.
As a Brit, our current coinage is a disgrace.

Most think that the branch notes are more valuable but the London issue is rarer than the Liverpool in this case. I bought it already slabbed so...
I do not have a $1,000 note.
There are two notes worth about $3,000 each....interesting to see if they get picked out lol.
They are the earlier dates, so quite nice....I avoid the 1864's now.
The £5 without Somerset signature (error) is nice and no 1 on the PMG report. Ignore camera date....no idea how to correct it.
