Yes, I've been getting a ton of the messages. I don't click on anything I don't know about, and even some I do to my friend's dismay. Ha!
Why do these old responses keep popping up? I've had several where the last response was from months before such as this one.

Just make sure you don't try blowing it off with your breath. You will leave microscopic moisture particles. You probably know this.

I've dried out silica in the past for my gun/ammo stuff without a problem. It's been awhile as I now just run a dehumidifier in my gun/ammo room....
Why not just put the silica that you have in the oven and then reuse? Also, some kitty litter is nothing but silica with color-changing crystals...
