In a machining environment proper cooling prevents that. I agree with the possible hit from the surrounding damage. I really appreciate you guys...

Even if it was a hit, this material bends and gouges. It doesn't snap off.

There's no surrounding damage. It would have to be hit twice. Two missing sections. Possibility of breaking during the minting process? bad material?

Yea, I saw the roof and the initials are almost gone. Is that a small over large date stamp?
A in states, O in of, M in america. What would you call the date stamp?
