Score! Time to buy that teller some candy!
That makes sense. Thanks.
Being that it's an error and doesn't sound like it's common, why would it be worth nothing?
Thanks for the info. Is the error that I have common?
Found this while roll-searching this week. I don't think it's PMD since the areas with the missing detail aren't worn down but are raised. Is...
Being a roll-searcher, I would buy them anyway just in case too.
Not sure about the rest of you but when you go to a bank and they have hundreds of dollars worth of CWR of halves, that puts up a big red flag for me.
Found an 1893 Columbian today in a box to go with my 1892 I found back in January!
Boxes of halves have been OK for me...no more than 3 silvers in each of the last 6 boxes. Found 3 roosies in $100 of dimes this AM so that was...
Good day for me. Box of halves yielded 2 Walkers ('37 and'40), 1 '64 and 3 40%ers. $100 in dimes yielded a Merc ('45).
Sorry to hear about your grandfather. You may want to take a look at the completed listings of ebay to see what they have sold for recently to...
I just logged in and ordered without any problems.
You may want to post this over on the Paper Money forum here... http://www.cointalk.com/f31/
welcome to CT! First 1/2 of a box of halves yielded 2 '64s. Hopefully the other 1/2 of the box does too. $50 in dimes had a '64. Also found...
Why not just get $50 per bank? I guess you are assuming the next bank has a box?
Did good with dimes yesterday. Picked up $50 worth when I got my box of halves in the AM and got 1 silver Rosie. Picked up $100 on my way home...
Or they continue to sell them at their original price and sell out in a flash! I guess they'll eventually sell out anyway?
If they are mint rolls how would the Cheerios dollars get into them if they were put in Cheerios boxes?
Nice finds in the dimes. I am off tomorrow and the banks are open....lookout! Hoping to repeat my full roll of silver dimes from the last 2...
Yes, those are machine rolls which have been opened and recrimped. Time to find another bank as your supply bank. Use them as a dump bank.
