Take a look at some of these proposed bills and the title will speak for itself. They are intended to save money but are doing the exact opposite....

I've gotten every 2011 denomination except the quarter.
Go a little further south to Peru or Ecuador and people will gladly take them :). American dollar coins are heavily used down there.
