nice job on the silver you've found!! some people pay crazy amounts for toned coins,toning like that isn't really a bad thing unless it is...
my camera was in macro mode and if i separate the camera from the coin too much it blurs ... my white balance was on the one you has suggested...
personally i'd stay away from quarters period unless some little old lady just brought them to the bank... and considering your situation i would...
can a coin actually even be a ddo and ddr? if there is i sure haven't found one !
i always have a problem with getting a shadow on my coin using 1 light north of the coin ... should i use 2 lights or something? any ideas?...
i'm not really an expert on paper money but i'm sure the value depends on how many were printed, the serial # , and the condition

hey guys i am also wondering about the lighting .... do use more than one light source and if so where do you place them and at what angle are...
i understand that my photos are as great as some people have on here but what could i do to improve them? do i need another light source to get...
i did buy this coin for less than $25 ... if it is truely ms65 rb or rd i may hold on to it .... not sure about getting it slabbed though
not too sure what exactly it is... it looks like black crud in the second pic but when i look at it at an angle the light reflects off it more...
oh i almost forgot to ask if that a die clash under the chin? i just looked at a website that overlays the images of the obverse and reverse so...
