Holy Smokes! Where did MNcoinman come from? Well done, sir! I've been away attending to business, and haven't had the time to frequent this...
I guessed 6. I think you guys are confusing die polish for something more problematic.
Congrats on your NEWP. Setting aside the holes for a moment, that coin has quite a nice planchet. Enjoy the coin in good health, Marshall!
guessed 66, but would not surprise me in a 65 slab. always tough to guess if the spot was there at grading or not.
Luster looks delicious, but not good enough to make up for all of the ticks and taps and still make 67. I guessed 66.
Every once in a while you see a real head-scratcher in these 50's cents. I hope this one is not that, and they graded it 66 (what I guessed) and...
I'm calling BS on that one! :)
No, that's a perfectly normal and worn large cent. If the coin is unusual, its because it doesn't appear messed with, like 95+% of large cents.
Makes perfect sense to me. Not saying I agree, but rather I follow the logic. Now the next question... What coins will be the next to have their...
guessed 6, but 5 was a consideration.
Sorry guys, been out of town and focused on end of quarter stuff. Being a salesman at the end of the quarter sucks. lol
Think you might need to change your handle to CentGuy. :) Nice coin.
Wow, sounds like you hit the jackpot! Congrats! That 1903 is a looker too! Lot of red for a BN coin. I generally don't agree often to...
Tough to get a read on luster, but the coin reminded me of a 66BN large cent in NGC slabs, so that's what I guessed.
A prime example of a coin that NGC will grade 67 and PCGS will grade 66.... Nice coin, no matter the grade! IMO, of course. :)
.11? Amazingly awesome accuracy!!!
63 due to overdipping was my first thought. Something about the coin just looked "off" in the photo.
I guessed 65. I've not done well on these polls, if memory serves. Which is really odd, as I've been collecting Ikes for a very long time. I've...
What an odd coin. First thought is double-struck....uncentered the first time, and correctly the 2nd. But what about the obverse? Like Conder...
Bingo. We have a winner.
