Wow. I've gotten about 400 1$ stars in the past year. But I've gone through some 20,000 in new singles and 100,000 circulated singles in the last...
Same old results. Only two notes of note, a 1988a Web press and a binary radar (01111110) in G/VG condition. Unfortunately I haven't been finding...

180$ in Halves: Skunk Did find a 1951 Rosie in the reject try of the Penny Arcade at TD Bank when turning them in.
I do, I do. And the two, too. Living in Berlin, CT, so it's nice to see some oldies from my neck of the woods.
Yeah, and it's sad. My local banks all get straps of new 2$ during the holidays. I pick up as many as I can hoping for stars and fancy #s.
Slim pickings on crisp straps lately. Have been only able to find circulated 1$s. Searched 10 straps today, saved 3 AU stars and 1 XF star. Best...

I was unfortunately outbid on the 1899 1$ Black Eagle Speelman/White (66 Gem+). But for less money (20$) I won an auction for a Teehee/Burke (67...
Here's the back as requested [IMG]
I've been strap searching (and looking at work) for a year now, finding a whole range of star note series, runs and conditions. Now I have amassed...
Found a 1948 Rosie and a 1939 Winged Liberty at work. Just got a1966 Kennedy and a 1963 2$ Red Seal from the teller.
Got a 2009 B* Run 6 (Ch Unc) yesterday at work. Filled another hole :)
Then you'll first need to know what you want to collect. Paper currency can be collected in many ways. Seems his listing of series and block info...
Too true indeed. Found a 1929 - Low 9 - in XF condition at work a year ago. Cost 1¢; Value $7.50. Good old George V :)
